Features

Everything you need to unify your issue trackers

Built for engineering teams that work across multiple projects but need a single source of truth.

Bidirectional sync

Changes flow both ways between Jira projects — cross-site or same-site. Update one side, see it mirrored within seconds on the other. No manual copy-paste.

Smart field mapping

Map statuses, priorities, issue types, and assignees between projects with a visual wizard. Full, explicit control over every field — no silent fallbacks.

Real-time webhooks

Paid tiers get Jira webhooks for second-by-second updates; the Free tier checks every few minutes. Trigger a manual sync any time.

Sync Inbox

Conflicts get one-click resolution, never a silent overwrite. Both versions side by side — you pick the winner, the engine converges.

Migration mode

Adopts your existing Unito or Exalate mirrors by their markers — no duplicates, no re-pairing by hand. How switching works.

Clean exit

One click removes every Ticketize marker from your Jiras — sync labels, attribution lines, all of it. Leaving is as clean as joining.

Who it's for

Built for teams that live in more than one Jira

If your work spans two Jira projects — or two companies — Ticketize keeps both sides honest.

Agencies & their clients

Work in your own Jira while mirroring to each client's board. They see progress in their tools; you never leave yours.

Vendors & customers

Share a delivery or support queue across company boundaries — without handing out logins to your internal Jira.

Mergers & acquisitions

Running two Jira instances after a merge? Keep both in sync while you consolidate — no big-bang migration required.

Internal ↔ external boards

Triage in a private project, expose a sanitized mirror to partners or contractors. Comments and status stay aligned.

Managed service providers

One Jira per client gets noisy fast. Mirror the tickets that matter into a central ops board you actually watch.

Distributed product teams

Two squads, two project conventions, one shared source of truth — mapped field-by-field, synced in seconds.

How it works

Up and running in three steps

Connect, configure, and sync. No complex setup or migration scripts needed.

1

Connect your trackers

Link your Jira Cloud workspace with OAuth 2.0. One-click setup, no API tokens to manage.

2

Configure sync rules

Choose source and target projects. Map statuses, priorities, and assignees with the visual wizard.

3

Issues sync automatically

Sit back. Paid tiers mirror via webhooks within seconds; Free checks every few minutes. Track status from the dashboard.

A real example

Two Jira sites, one workflow

Set up in about five minutes — here's a single ticket mirrored across two Atlassian sites.

Source — Client Jiraclient.atlassian.net / EXT
EXT-142 · In Progress
Comment from @client-pm · Screenshot attached
~2s · webhook
Target — Internal Jiraacme.atlassian.net / INT
INT-87 · In Progress
Mirrored from @client-pm · Same screenshot, byte-equal

A status update on the internal side reflects back to the client's EXT-142 in seconds. Assignees map per-user (@client-pm → @acme-jdoe), priorities translate (P1 → Highest), and if both sides edit the same field at once it lands in the Sync Inbox for a one-click resolution — never a silent overwrite.

Enterprise-grade security

Your data stays yours

Tenant isolation enforced at the database engine. Credentials encrypted, never plaintext. A clean exit any time you ask.

Your data is invisible to other tenants

Every query is scoped to your workspace at the database engine via PostgreSQL Row-Level Security — not just the application layer. No accidental cross-tenant leaks, ever.

Credentials never stored in plaintext

Jira OAuth tokens are encrypted with a per-tenant data key, itself encrypted with a master key managed outside the database. A stolen backup is unreadable.

The app role can't bypass isolation

Even if a future bug forgot to filter by workspace, the database role we connect as physically cannot read another tenant's rows. Belt-and-suspenders by design.

Audit trail, rate-limiting & error tracking

Every sync attempt is logged. Auth endpoints rate-limited at the gateway, per-account lockout after 10 failed logins, and errors flow to a self-hosted instance — no third party watching your data.

FAQ

Questions about Jira sync

What is Ticketize.it?

Ticketize.it is a tool that keeps two Jira Cloud projects in sync bidirectionally — cross-site or same-site — mirroring issues, comments, attachments, status, priority, and assignees in near real time. It's built for teams that work across more than one Jira instance and need both sides to stay consistent without manual copy-paste.

Can it sync two different Jira (Atlassian) sites?

Yes — cross-site sync between two different Atlassian Cloud sites (e.g. client.atlassian.netacme.atlassian.net) is the primary use case. Same-site sync between two projects on one site works too.

Does bidirectional sync overwrite my changes?

No. If both sides edit the same field between sync cycles, Ticketize detects the conflict and surfaces it in the Sync Inbox for a one-click resolution — it never silently overwrites either side.

Do I need Jira API tokens to connect?

No. You authorize through Atlassian OAuth 2.0 (3LO) on Atlassian's own consent screen — there are no API tokens to copy or store. Setup takes under five minutes.

Is there a free plan?

Yes, free forever: 1 sync rule, 1 Atlassian site, and 50 mirrored tickets per month, checked every few minutes. Paid plans start at $3/month and add bidirectional sync, real-time webhooks, and attachments.
